Aeacus, ī, m. (Αἰακός), myth. König von Ägina, Sohn des Jupiter u. der Ägina od. Europa, Vater des Peleus u. Telamon und somit Stammvater der Äaciden (s. unten Aeacides), wegen seiner Frömmigkeit (dah. templorum fabricator, s. Arnob. 6, 3) und Gerechtigkeit nach seinem Tode mit Minos und Rhadamanthus Richter der Schatten in der Unterwelt, Hyg. fab. 52. Ov. met. 13, 25. Cic. Tusc. 1, 98: griech. Akk.
