arēnātus, a, um (arena), mit Sand vermischt, calx, Cato r. r. 18, 8. – Öfter subst., arēnātum, ī, n. (sc. opus), ein Mörtel, der aus einem Teile Kalk u. zwei Teilen Sand besteht, der Sandbewurf, Vitr. u. Plin.: arenatum tectorio od. arenato tectorium inducere, Plin.
