(ἀῤῥαβών, vom hebr. ןוברע, Unterpfand, aus ברע, bürgen), I) das bei einem Vertrage gegebene Unterpfand, Angeld, das Kaufgeld, der Kaufschilling, arrabonem dare, Plaut.: arraboni dare has quadraginta minas, Plaut.: pro arrabone dari, Vulg.: arrabonem hoc ferre pro mina, Plaut.: puellam arraboni relinquere pro argento, Ter.: fenus copiosum sub arrabone auri argentique crebriter exercens, auf Gold u.
