ascrīptīcius, a, um (ascribo no. I, A, c, γ), als neu hinzugekommen (in die Bürger-, Soldatenliste usw.) eingetragen, registriert, eingeschrieben, novi et ascripticii cives, Cic. de nat. deor. 3, 39: ascripticii (milites), überzählige, Paul. ex Fest. 14, 13 (vgl. ascriptivi): u. so quod eius consilio nullum ascripticium (Überzähligen, Supernumerären) id est vacantem (Dienstfreien) haberet, Treb. Poll. trig. tyr. 18, 11 (vgl. ascribo no. I, A, c, γ): ascripticii (coloni), eine Art Ackersklaven, die zugleich mit dem Grundstück auf jeden Erwerber desselben übergingen, Cod. Iust. 11, 47, 6.
