acrolithus, a, um (ἀκρόλιθος), am äußersten Ende von Stein, statua, Statue, deren bekleidetem od. vergoldetem Körper von Holz Teile (Kopf, Hände u. Füße) von Marmor angesetzt waren, Treb. Poll. trig. tyr. 32, 5; vgl. Vitr. 2, 8, 11.
